My name is Gislaine Mine, from Brazil to the world. I moved to the USA in 2015, without any English knowledge and also without qualifications recognized here, but a lot of work and life experience. The communication? It was a mix of miming and determination. After 5 years, I achieved my citizenship and licensed in aesthetics, proving that dreams do come true. I launched Mine Brazilian Wax, in 2021. The name “Mine”, is a tribute to the legacy of my children Bruno and Gabriel.

What’s the difference between Brazilian waxing and Sugaring?
Brazilian waxing uses warm wax to remove hair from the root, while Sugaring uses a natural sugar paste that adheres only to the hair (not the skin). Sugaring is gentler and ideal for sensitive skin.
How long should my hair be before getting waxed or sugared?
Hair should be about 1/4 inch long—roughly the size of a grain of rice. This ensures the wax or sugar paste can grip the hair effectively.
What should I do before my appointment?
Exfoliate gently 24 hours before, avoid caffeine, and wear loose clothing. Make sure the hair is long enough (at least 1/4 inch), and avoid shaving in between sessions.
Do you offer treatments for sensitive or allergy-prone skin?
Yes, we do! Our team will always assess your skin type and offer customized, gentle solutions using hypoallergenic and non-toxic formulas. Just let us know about any sensitivities when booking
What should I avoid after waxing or Sugaring?
Avoid hot baths, tanning, workouts, and tight clothing for at least 24–48 hours. Let your skin breathe and recover naturally.
